In its 2004 vintage it earned the legendary 100‑point Parker rating, a privilege attained by only a select few. Limited in production, it comes from a selection of the house’s best vineyards and barrels, after a long ageing period of more than three years that, contrary to expectations, delivers a very fruit‑laden red wine, with toasted barrel character blending perfectly with the fruit. It consistently presents itself as extremely pleasant, fruity, round and smooth.
