The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected given their age. The National Cellar stores all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that typically reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve in various ways. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine aerate first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant before serving, do so patiently to detect any sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
