Born from the stillness of the Carthusian Monastery, this Scala Coeli is a bold statement – showcasing challenging Portuguese grape varieties alongside exceptional harvests and a genuine respect for time. The grapes, carefully picked in September and October, undergo a lengthy maceration at 28°C, before a 14-month aging in French oak. This subtly balances the robust character of the grapes with a surprisingly smooth finish, ideal for pairing with a perfectly grilled beef dish or a hearty roast.
