This Secretum is a wine that quietly asks, “Have I tasted anything quite like this before?” The Arinto provides a bright, citrus-driven nose with a subtle hint of beeswax – a lovely echo of its extended time in French oak, naturally. It’s a wine with a definite character, almost a little cheeky. Nine months of batonnage have given it a wonderfully velvety texture and a lingering finish reminiscent of perfectly ripe stone fruit. Seriously impressive, and utterly delightful with grilled fish or a light spring lunch.
