Description

This Alvarinho from Soalheiro, born at the foot of the Minho River, is a delightfully audacious wine. Grown on the lower slopes of Monção and Melgaço, it boasts a remarkably mineral character – a direct result of the clay-rich terroir. Expect aromas of ripe Cox’s Orange Pippin apple, dark plum, and a hint of lemon zest, interwoven with floral notes of acacia and hawthorn. A truly impressive wine, scoring 90 points, with a long, persistent finish; ideally paired with grilled fish or a classic Bacalhau à Brás.
