Susana Esteban is one of the winemakers in Portugal who has won the most awards. Her brilliant creations remain memorable, and her collaborations showcase the best that the world of Portuguese wines can produce. She began her career in 1999, and in 2011 she launched her project in Alentejo, when she acquired her first vineyard plots. In 2012 she received the most prestigious award a winemaker can earn in Portugal, the title of “Winemaker of the Year” from Revista de Vinhos, and until that time she was the only woman to have received this distinction.
