Produced only in exceptional years, this vintage is the ultimate expression of the Taittinger style. It is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes cultivated at the top of the prestigious Côte des Blancs vineyards, and its production uses only the first juice obtained from the pressed grapes. It is then given a brief ageing in new oak barrels, which enhances the intrinsic qualities of Champagne, and before disgorgement, this Blanc de Blancs is aged for 10 years on the lees.
