The ever-present Trincadeira provides a solid foundation, while the Alicante Bouschet injects a welcome dose of boldness. Supported by the classic Aragonez, this blend delivers ample body and tannins, reflecting the granite soils of the region – a true testament to its terroir. It would be absolutely superb with a hearty beef roast, or perhaps even a perfectly cooked duck, Port-style.
