This straw‑yellow white wine is predominantly made from Encruzado grapes grown on old vines at Quinta da Teixuga. The aroma shows great intensity and a hint of complexity thanks to ageing in French oak barrels. On the palate it is rich and full‑bodied, with a lively acidity that is well integrated and a long finish. Caminhos Cruzados was born from the initiative and determination of Paulo Santos, a native of Nelas, who, wishing to return to his roots and invest in the wine world, decided to transform an old agricultural company into a modern wine producer and bottler. The company’s philosophy centres on producing quality wines that blend tradition with modernity and continuous differentiation demanded by the market. Its wines are crafted from grapes from its own vineyards and from selected growers renowned for their quality and excellence of varieties, all within the Dão region.
