The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for over six hundred years. Since then, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Over its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed this activity directly, making innovative and sometimes bold choices, while always maintaining an unwavering respect for tradition and territory. Tenuta Guado al Tasso is located in the small and prestigious Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) area of Bolgheri, on the coast of Alta Maremma, about a hundred kilometres southwest of Florence. This denomination has a relatively short history. Established in 1994, it now enjoys international fame as a new reference point in the global wine scene. Tenuta Guado al Tasso covers an area of approximately 320 hectares of vineyards on a splendid plain surrounded by hills known as the “Bolgheri amphitheater” due to its particular layout.
