This Old Vines Reserva from the Alentejo is a wine that demands your attention. That deep ruby hue, lauded by *Revista de Vinhos*, hints at a wine brimming with character. Black fruit notes intertwine with chocolate and a touch of spice – a genuinely complex symphony. While there’s a noticeable austerity, typical of the schistous terroir, it’s remarkably well-balanced, finishing with a refreshing, lingering presence. Absolutely brilliant with a good grilled beef.
