From the very beginning, the focus has been on finding old vines in the most authentic, least exploited corners of the Douro—places where new stories could be told through wine. It all started on the slope of Serra do Reboredo (1,000 meters above sea level) in Paredes da Beira, the highest point in the Douro. Surrounded by abundant granite outcrops, the area features sandy‑granite soils interspersed with quartz veins, ranging in altitude from 700 to 1,000 meters. Situated on the slopes of the Rio Távora, it boasts an enviable heritage of century‑old vines that have remained untouched over time, tended by generations of hands through years of hard work. The result is wine with remarkable freshness, character, and identity!
