“This Titular Reserva is clearly a wine made with meticulous care – the hand-harvested grapes and the winemaker’s evident focus on purity really shine through. He’s cleverly allowed the blend of Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz to express itself fully, and the influence of new and old oak barrels has added a lovely layer of richness and complexity. It’s a well-deserved 17 points, and would pair beautifully with a hearty beef dish.”
