He’s cleverly allowed the blend of Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz to express itself fully, and the influence of new and old oak barrels has added a lovely layer of richness and complexity. It’s a well-deserved 17 points, and would pair beautifully with a hearty beef dish.”
