For the Vértice sparkling wine Vértice Cuvée brut, we source the grapes from the cooler areas of the Douro at 550 m above sea level. After low‑temperature fermentation, the wine was left on fine lees (batonnage) for three months to enhance complexity. The final blend was then subjected to a second bottle‑fermentation, following the Champagne method. Awards 90 points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate Allergen information Contains sulfites.
