Vicentino Through his academic and professional background—and with years of experience in the global production and trade of fruit—Norwegian winemaker Ole Martin Siem realized that Portugal offered the ideal climate and soils for wine making. He was captivated by the wines of Alentejo and the stunning scenery of the Vicentine Coast. He chose to plant his vines in a unique ecosystem where the sea meets the cliffs. These grapes, the product of countless hours of work and dedication, give birth to Vicentino. The high temperatures of Alentejo, tempered by the sea’s humidity, allow a perfect ripening, creating wines of exceptional elegance. **Soil** The loam‑clay soils on which the vines grow allow the Pinot Noir variety to express its full potential. In 2019 we achieved an average yield of 6.7 t/ha. This balance of quantity and quality, combined with a mild climate, produced a superior raw material. Pinot Noir, native to cooler regions, finds in our terroir the conditions needed to showcase two of its key attributes: freshness and elegance. **Harvest and Maturation** Manual harvest. Grapes are pressed whole clusters. Fermentation occurs in stainless‑steel vats. The Vicentino Naked Pinot Noir Rosé is aged six months in the same stainless‑steel tanks on fine lees. **Food Pairing** This wine is highly versatile, making it an excellent choice for starters such as pumpkin soup, hummus, or beef carpaccio, as well as for percebes (goose barnacles) or Spanish‑style mussels. It also pairs wonderfully with Indian or Nepalese cuisine. **Allergen Information** Contains sulfites. SKU: 106199
