The VIK “A” Carmenere Millahue red wine springs from the Millahue valley in Chile, where deep, well‑drained granite soils and a Mediterranean climate with maritime influence create ideal conditions for the Carménère grape. It matures for 12 months in French “Barrois” oak barrels, toasted with oak sourced from the estate itself. The nose is dominated by dark fruit notes—blackberry and plum—paired with spice nuances and hints of red fruit. On the palate it offers fine, rounded tannins, an expressive, well‑balanced body, and an acidity that lends freshness and dynamism. An elegant, complex wine, unmistakably marked by Millahue’s terroir. (Illustrative image only)
