Born from a vineyard that’s witnessed centuries – a truly venerable wine – this is a testament to patience and flavour. Primarily crafted with Tinta Roriz, alongside a subtly complex blend, it’s a curious wine, balanced by the traditional foot-treading in granite lagares and a generous 23 months ageing – 60% new oak, 40% third-fill – all in pursuit of perfect harmony. Expect a medium-bodied wine with firm tannins and a lingering finish, evocative of the vineyard’s age and a deep respect for its character. It’s a wine that delivers, and with time, will undoubtedly only deepen in interest; particularly lovely alongside a succulent roast beef.
