Vivanco La Isla Single Vineyard Red is part of Rafael Vivanco’s range of wines created under the new Single Vineyard category, approved by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Rioja in 2017 to give visibility to wines from a single plot of exceptional quality, in the style of French Grand Cru. This red comes from a plot near Briones called Ia Isla, because it is isolated, almost hidden, to the northeast of the village. The multivarietal plot is cultivated organically, a site Rafael discovered with his father in 2000 and which impressed him as if it were love at first sight—an estate that deserves a wine all its own. When you purchase a bottle, you also receive an invitation to the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture, valid for two people until 31 December 2026. The instructions for the invitation are on a card inside the box that presents the product.
