Maria is a property situated in the heart of the Douro region, in Cima Corgo, near the mouth of the Rio Torto, and has existed since 1868. After having been in the hands of the Symington family, it was under the management of the Van Zeller family in 1996 that the estate regained its potential, maintaining its 10 hectares of old vines. Since then, and thanks to great dedication and passion, Quinta Vale D. Maria has been producing unique wines whose quality is recognised nationally and internationally. (illustrative image only)
