Plaisirs Rosé is quite expressive, with aromas of white flowers and spices. On the palate it presents a fleshy character with a subtle spicy note and red fruit. Since 1734, Domaine Monplézy has occupied an extremely privileged position in the terroir of Pézenas, in the Languedoc‑Roussillon region, now a Natura 2000 zone that recently became a member of the League for the Protection of Birds. The 30‑hectare estate has been in the Germa‑Gil family for four generations and is currently run by the younger members Anne, Christian, Benoit and Margot. Anne and Christian built their own cellar in 2000, which is now converted to organic farming. Benoit, who worked on a very famous biodynamic estate in California, then in Argentina and Provence, also devotes himself to the business today, with the help of his younger sister Margot, an expert in all the tasks a cellar requires. Together they allow the continuity of a family business increasingly devoted to the production of organic wines. (illustrative image only)
