The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always preserves the visual appearance characteristic of their age. We select brands and regions that, in general, display distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we point out that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years of closure.
