Each vineyard is vinified and aged separately, according to the profile of each grape variety, producing a complete wine with texture, intensity and vitality that reflects the diversity and richness of the Esporão territories. Made from the finest grapes on the estate, this wine demonstrates excellent ageing potential. Esporão Winery was born in the Alentejo from an unrelenting desire to produce the best wines; this motivation is the legacy of all its wines and the main reason for expanding into other products and regions. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – large diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in harmony with the environment. Covering about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops nurtured by a Biological Production method, it now integrates roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards and vegetable gardens.
