It presents a deep garnet colour and a great aromatic complexity, revealing ripe dark fruit with notes of cocoa and pepper. On the palate it is silky, dense and firm. The Esporão company was born in the Alentejo from an unconditional desire to make the best wines. This motivation is the legacy of all its produced wines and the main reason for having expanded its range to other products and territories. The Esporão Estate, located in the heart of the Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – large diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in balance with the environment. With approximately 702 hectares of vines, olive trees and other crops cultivated under the Biological Production Method, it currently incorporates about 40 grape varieties, 4 olive varieties, orchards and gardens.
