Intense ruby colour, with notes of blackberries, cocoa, dark chocolate, licorice and a hint of black pepper. On the palate it is rich and complex, dominated by intense black fruit and spice notes. Long, persistent finish. Esporão was born in the Alentejo from an unconditional desire to make the best wines. This motivation is the legacy of all its produced wines and the main reason for expanding the range to other products and territories. The Esporão estate, situated in the heart of the Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – large temperature ranges, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps produce in balance with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vines, olive groves and other crops fostered by organic production, it now includes around 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards and vegetable gardens.
