Esporão was born in Alentejo from an unconditional desire to produce the best wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all of its wines and the main reason for expanding its range to other products and regions. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – large diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that helps create balance with the environment. With around 702 hectares of vines, olive trees and other crops nurtured by the Biological Production System, the estate now incorporates about 40 grape varieties, 4 olive cultivars, fruit trees and vegetable gardens.
