This Herdade do Lousial Neblina Reserva is a bit of a mystery, draped in a delicate, hazy veil – fittingly named, of course. Remarkably well-suited to the Beira Interior, the Nebbiolo grape delivers a wine of surprising structure and body, quite a challenge considering its understated colour. The barrel aging has beautifully softened the tannins, unveiling a complexity that practically demands a discussion… perhaps alongside a hearty beef stew to balance that lovely acidity.
