The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in aged wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle its aromas evolve differently. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years sealed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect any sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
