Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort emerged as an undeniable figure in the world of wine, recognised as one of the most important personalities who has worked—and continues to work—towards Portuguese wine. He has collaborated with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while also preparing his legacy with those who always create irreverent wines.
