Paulo Laureano is one of Portugal’s most esteemed winemakers and a benchmark for wines in Alentejo. Trained as an agronomist and winemaker in Portugal, Australia and Spain, after teaching at the University of Évora for ten years he decided to focus exclusively on what has driven him since 2003: crafting wines. Primarily within the family‑founded company of 1999, which has grown in importance in his life, Paulo Laureano calls himself a minimalist winemaker. For him, designing wines is a passion—uncovering their aromas and flavours, assessing and refining the elements of their identity and personality, and promoting them as true sources of pleasure—these are the key points of his philosophy.
