The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar ensures all wines are stored at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We conduct a selection of brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
