This deep ruby red from Quinta do Cardo, steeped in almost a century of tradition, is a delightfully unexpected revelation. Born from granite-rich soils, it bursts with mineral freshness – a true reflection of its Beira Interior terroir, expertly crafted by enologists Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes. The blend of Aragonez and Touriga Nacional provides a solid backbone, beautifully softened by the delicate Touriga Francesa. It’s a wine of medium body with excellent aging potential, perfect alongside a hearty roast or, dare we suggest, some exquisitely tender Iberian pork.
