Sete Patamares Branco is a white wine from the Douro, Portugal, produced by Mateus & Sequeira. It is a blend of the grape varieties Viosinho, Malvasia Fina and Moscatel Galego Branco. A Douro white from Mateus & Sequeira, made from Viosinho, Malvasia Fina and Moscatel Galego Branco, with 12% vol. Moscatel Galego typically adds a floral aromatic note to the freshness of Viosinho and the softness of Malvasia Fina. It is a white best served well chilled, at 8 to 10 ºC, with salads, grilled fish or shellfish. It shows a citrine colour. On the nose, citrus, orchard fruit and mineral notes. On the palate, fresh, mineral and well balanced. It pairs well with salads, grilled fish or shellfish. Serve at 7–10 °C. At 12% vol., it comes in a 0.75 L bottle. Serve this white well chilled, but not iced, in a medium-sized glass that concentrates the aromas. If the bottle comes out of the refrigerator too cold, let it stand for a few minutes at room temperature so the wine can reveal its full expression. Store the bottle lying down, in a cool, dark place without temperature variations. Once opened, reseal it and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve the aromas.
