This rosé from the Douro is a little enigmatic, isn’t it? The pale pink hue hints at a considered ageing, with a lovely core of wild berry aromas – likely a significant Touriga Nacional contribution. On the palate, it’s remarkably intense and refined, driven by a vibrant acidity. Seriously, it’s begging for a beautiful board of cheeses and cured meats, or perhaps a perfectly roasted duck.
