Founded in 1926 by Messias Baptista, MESSIAS is a renowned Portuguese wine producer that has remained under family management for four generations. The company produces high-quality wines, sparkling wines, and spirits from the main demarcated regions of Portugal, including Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras, and Port Wine. Its headquarters and main cellars are located in Mealhada, in the heart of the Bairrada region, with additional facilities and vineyards (over 200 hectares in total across the different estates like Quinta do Valdoeiro, Quinta do Cachão, and Quinta do Penedo) in other key regions.
