Muxagat

Muxagat Vinhos started as a small garage winery in 2002 in the tiny village of Muxagata in the Douro Superior region. The project, currently owned and operated by Susana Lopes and her family, focuses on exploring a unique terroir and producing high-quality, authentic wines with minimal intervention in the winemaking process. They use traditional methods like foot-trodding in granite lagares, with an emphasis on organic farming practices in their high-altitude vineyards spread across Mêda, Muxagata, and Fonte Longa.
