The company Vinhos Justino Henriques & Sons was founded in 1870 and is one of the largest wine producers in Madeira. In 1981, Sigfredo da Costa Campos purchased the company from Companhia Vinicola da Madeira, later acquiring its shares as well. Today the company is owned by the French firm La Martiniquaise, which has a strong influence on exports to the French market. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
