Alpedrinha red is crafted from Jaén, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Touriga Nacional grapes. After 12 months in stainless‑steel tanks, 6 months in French oak barrels and 6 months in bottle, it emerges a deep ruby hue with aromas of ripe fruit, a touch of cooked fruit and herbal nuances. On the palate it is structured, with pronounced, lingering tannins. Adega do Fundão, founded in 1949 by 30 local viticulturists, sits in Cova da Beira—a vine‑cultivated area tracing back to the 2nd century Roman settlements. The vines grow along the Serra da Gardunha, yielding grapes that bestow the wines with unrivalled richness, freshness and exuberance. (illustrative image only)
