Altas Quintas Reserva Branco

Description

The Altas Quintas Reserva Branco is a wine of great elegance, made from old vines in the sub-region of Portalegre, where granitic soils lend freshness and a distinct identity. It shows aromas of stone fruit, quince and apricot, accompanied by vegetal notes, flint and subtle smoky hints from the barrel. On the palate it reveals excellent volume, vibrant citrus acidity and a long, persistent finish, with notable potential to evolve in bottle. The Altas Quintas project was born from a desire to make wines in the Alentejo with characteristics that set them apart, for discerning enthusiasts. The difference in its wines begins with the location of the vineyards that produce them, planted on a plateau at 600 metres of altitude, in the heart of the Alentejo. Alongside the terroir is the project's strongest trait: an obsession with being different, constantly driving the pursuit of the highest quality in the raw material from which these Alentejo wines are made.
