This Ardila from the Alentejo feels like it’s still buzzing with the energy of the harvest – and rightly so. The careful, hand-picked grapes clearly translate to a lively mouthfeel. Extended maceration, a full 24 hours in the press, generously extracts colour and tannins, characteristic of Trincadeira and Aragonez. The controlled fermentation at 25°C further enhances the wine’s structure and body, beautifully balanced by the acidity of the Alfrocheiro. A seriously intense experience, perfect with a good grilled beef or game dish.
