Art.Terra is born from a quest for the genuine expression of terroir and the grapes it harbours, employing the ancient technique of winemaking in clay amphorae. Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aiming to continue a five‑generation legacy steeped in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown in tandem with the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive groves and 350 ha of vineyards all under integrated production. With the three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles a year, 70 % of which serve the external market, reaching more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the very best of Alentejo.
