This Ventozelo Blue is a wonderfully bold and perhaps a touch flamboyant wine, showcasing the classic character of Touriga Nacional alongside the intensity demanded by the Douro Valley – a truly impressive combination. The wine received a well-deserved 16 points from the wine magazine, and rightly so, with its vibrant fruit and floral aromas punctuated by a delightful vegetal note. It’s a full-bodied wine with powerful tannins, ideally paired with black pork – a pairing that echoes the rich history of Quinta do Ventozelo.
