This Bafarela Grande Reserva has clearly spent a good 12 months maturing in 500-litre French oak – you can taste the Douro’s influence! The blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Aragonez delivers a full-bodied, richly fruity character, with notes of dark ripe fruit and a lingering finish. A fantastic pairing with Iberian ham, as they say in the region.
