This Bem-te-vi Master Collection is a reminder that the Alentejo holds some delightful secrets. The colour is impressively deep, reminiscent of a chestnut wood at dusk. The nose reveals a journey of exotic spices, intense coffee and toasting notes, punctuated by a wonderfully refreshing mint hint – a clear indication of the warm earth where it originated. On the palate, the power is undeniable, with incredibly smooth tannins that seem to gently kiss the tongue, expertly balanced by classic, locally-sourced oak that beautifully complements the fruit. Absolutely fantastic with a hearty beef dish.
