Grown on vines meticulously angled towards the mountain – a result of nature’s whims and, of course, the Pinot Noir’s insistence – these grapes are selected with surgical precision, ensuring only the most perfect bunches, untouched by even a single leaf, make it into the bottle. The extended maceration, with the skins intimately involved in the fermentation, delivers remarkable depth and complexity. Finally, careful ageing in oak barrels has refined the wine, achieving that delicate balance between smoothness and texture that a truly exceptional Pinot Noir demands.
