This C de Cabriz, hailing from the Dão, clearly enjoyed a rather indulgent extended stay in the bottle – a full two months, to be exact. The extended maceration with the skins suggests a wonderfully relaxed approach to winemaking, resulting in a wine that, despite the undeniable quality of its Touriga Nacional and Aragonez components, isn’t afraid to be both approachable and remarkably smooth. It’s particularly lovely paired with grilled vegetables or a good sheep’s cheese.
