Calda Bordaleza is a wine of dark ruby color and dense aroma, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes. On the palate it delivers solid structure and a silky texture. It is lively, complex, and concentrated, yet fresh, with notes of red fruit, anise, balsamic, subtle chocolate, and a smooth, elegant toast, finishing long. A family that has devoted several generations to viticulture and winemaking. They currently cultivate 170 hectares across two estates in central Portugal: Quinta de São Mateus and Quinta de Vale de Azar.
