Description

“From Carlos Reynolds, a house with a history stretching back to 1820, this is their flagship release – clearly meant to be enjoyed a little earlier than usual. Crafted in the heart of the Alentejo, using grapes harvested at night and meticulously separated by variety – Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet – the result is a wine of remarkable finesse. Fermented in French Seguin Moreau oak balseiros, followed by a year in oak barriques, it showcases the distinctive character of the schistous terroir, reputedly offering ideal drainage and sunlight. Absolutely brilliant with slow-roasted pork or a perfectly grilled chicken breast.”
