A white that looks both south and north. This is how its creator, Germán R. Blanco, describes this Biba Viñas Viejas, a wine that, by the way, returns to Casa Aurora’s portfolio after almost a decade away. Only 400 1.5‑liter bottles were filled with this blend, dominated by Palomino and complemented by Godello and Doña Blanca. The tradition and unique character of Bierzo Alto’s old vineyards converge in this creation, forged with minimal intervention to bring out the fullest expression of almost century‑old vines grown at nearly 800 meters altitude.
