Castelo do Sulco “Seleção do Enólogo” rosé presents a lovely pink hue, with aromas and flavors of raspberries and strawberries. On the palate it is fresh, balanced and elegant. The Quinta do Gradil is referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the seventeenth century that the vineyard and wine became part of the estate’s economic activity. It was in the nineteenth century that a pivotal moment occurred, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited the Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into a leading agricultural enterprise focused on wine production. Many years have passed, and the Quinta do Gradil remains a Portuguese reference worldwide, now led by Luís Vieira. (illustrative image only)
