This First Growth Sauternes, a truly imposing figure of nearly 90 hectares, sits perched at the highest point of the appellation, boasting a frankly enviable neighbour – Yquem included. The dominant Semillon (90%) delivers a remarkable complexity, presenting aromas of honey, orange peel and mango, subtly deepened by vanilla notes imparted from those carefully aged Lafite barrels (18-24 months). A truly exceptional wine, ideally paired with a creamy blue cheese or a decadent dark chocolate crème brûlée.
